The finishing touches and the engraving are executed entirely by hand by our artisans and are done in accordance with the demands of the artist. With every sculpture a different style is necessary to work the surface, and it is for this that our chisels are made (with prime quality steel) directly in our foundry and then tempered, equipping them for the necessary and exclusive demand of the artist.
In completion of the bronze reproduction it is given a patina. The patina will be established in cooperation with the artist based on specific requests and chosen from the many samples that can be reproduced. This is done to increase the prestige and enhance the details of the work. The patina is obtained by the use of acids that we have prepared ourselves. These acids accelerate the natural process of oxidation of the metal “extrapolating” the color from the sculpture making the patina a part of the sculpture itself, not just a simple varnish.
